This paper provides a check‑list of herbaceous plants which were introduced in Europe from America, and nowadays they are naturalized and they become weeds. Also, the potential uses of some of those weeds are commented, since it might be one of the causes for their distribution. Also, when it is possible, these plants are named using their common Spanish name.
