Summary:

This study was done under field conditions on Centinela barley variety susceptible to Puccinia striiformis f.sp. hordei. The treatments were sprinkled on plants and they were: yeast extract broth with Enwinia herbicola, potato dextrose broth inoculated with Helminthosporium tritici‑repentis (1:2 v/v), and barley resistant to P. striiformis hordei extracts plants. Two aspersions were done, one on heading and 15 days later. All treatments were favorable on plants and increasing yield 100 to 1000 kg/ha. The best treatment was H. tritici‑repentis broth it reduced P. striiformis hordei infection in 40%.
